Starring Core Gameplay Changes In Nhl 11 League

The nhl 11 league is another winning release from EA Sports. Players are getting spoiled by the continued improvements; but, they will still look for an improved version by next year. This is what they have come to expect from the NHL series. The North American cover features Jonathan Toews, captain of the Chicago Blackhawks, the Stanley Cup winning and the recipient of the 2010 Conn Smythe Trophy.

The continued evolution of EA Sports video games is an accepted standard that is also reflected in new innovations to be enjoyed in NHL 11. The game is more dynamic, richer, with enhanced realism. Some modes have enhancements and a new mode adds another level of play. The first inclusion of the Canadian Hockey League adds more players and teams for gamers to play with. This title is for use in PS 3 and Xbox 360.

All the modes of NHL 10 are retained in this new release. The Ultimate Team mode is the new addition. It is an online mode in which players build a team using cards. The choice of about 4,000 players from the different leagues offers a good variety. The team that is assembled will play other assembled teams. All the assembled teams will be part of the EA Ultimate Hockey League. A virtual season of 30 days will test players and their teams. Teams will be ranked for playoff brackets and births through single matches and tournament play. Game users will discover that chemistry plays a key role in this mode. Teams that do well in post season are rewarded with arena banners and field logos in the next season. Each assembled can be revitalized by using the Free Agent and Draft packs given out after the post season play. A whole host of gameplay modifications have brought greater authenticity to this title. The physics engine is the big difference that will be noticeable for players of older titles that used the animation system it replaces. Unpredictability of real game is realized better in this virtual version. A new faceoff system also enhances the realism of this delightful new addition to the series. The first appearance of the Canadian Hockey League in this series adds more depth and diversity. Adding this most prestigious grouping of junior hockey is a coup for EA Sports. The members are the Western Hockey, the Ontario Hockey and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey leagues. The number of playable teams rises by 60 with this new addition. Players will now play for the Memorial Cup they compete for. The Canadians hope to raise popular awareness of junior hockey with its appearance in the virtual sphere. The inclusion of player names from this league should help bring greater awareness of junior hockey and the role it plays in enriching the professional rank.

NHL 11 title in the hockey series is another example why the series is an audience pleaser. The inclusion of amateur players from the Canadian league will introduce fans to young players with the potential to be drafted into the professional rank. The presence of teams from Europe, the NHL, the AHL and the Canadian amateurs displays the depth and global scope of this game. The different modes, gameplay enhancements, leagues and the teams give sports video game enthusiasts many reasons to replay this game.
